Job Duties/Scope Of Work
The Electrical Utilities, Projects and Programs Support, Project Specialist will play a critical role in the development and coordination of Electrical Utilities programmatic and engineering activities. The Project Specialist works independently and collaboratively with the Electrical Utilities Projects and Programs Manager and staff to plan and implement activities in the following areas: operations support, project interface, reporting of system outages, reporting metrics, and corrective action management.

The Projects Specialist will be responsible for planning, expediting, organizing, and obtaining technical, financial, and administrative support of scheduled tasks in order to complete project goals and/or deliverables.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Serve as task lead on various internal efforts including maintenance activities, projects, and implementation of new processes and programs. Project Specialist will be responsible for directing the work of others within the scope of their assigned project task.
* Develop detailed scope documentation for assigned EU internal projects.
* Serve as point of contact for EU Technical support requests. Project Specialist will be responsible for interpreting external requests, disposition as within Electrical Utilities or Project Services scope; assisting customer with development of scope and schedule; and interfacing with Operations and internal Engineering group to fulfill requests for service.
* Submit Action Reports and assist manager with completion and closeout of Condition Reports in the corrective action management system.
* Manage EU Outage Database, interpret event causes, trend outage data, and provide monthly reports of all system outages.

Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 1-5 years combined experience in customer service, management of customer accounts, and project support.

Ability to interpret and relay moderately technical and/or analytical information.

Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to perform multiple tasks, exercise judgement, adjust priorities, and perform work with minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications
Prior experience working in an electrical utility or other projects supporting infrastructure.
