Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) is seeking an all-around journeyman electrician, performing all types of electrical work, such as layout on construction wiring, installation, and maintenance of complicated electrical equipment, including switchgear, generating, substation, distribution and control equipment, etc. Take electrical clearance and perform switching operations on high voltage electrical circuits. Perform expert trouble shooting and writing on complicated equipment and/or rewind motors and generators. Direct work of others and perform any assigned electrical work of lesser skill.

Required Qualifications
1. Possession of a general journey-level license . *Copy of license to be provided if applicant is selected for position.

2. Completed 8,000 documented hours of electrical on-the-job training under the supervision of a journey-level electrician in light industrial, commercial, or construction and a minimum of 2,150 hours of classroom training.

3. Verified electrical experience (e.g., military, other State) may be substituted for a portion of the 8,000 documented hours and 2,150 hours of classroom training requirements.

Desired Qualifications
Washington State EL01 general Journeyman license preferred.

Previous Hanford experience desired
