Job Responsibilities/Duties
This position is responsible for ensuring safe and compliant maintenance and operations for the 242-A Evaporator and Effluent Treatment Facilities (ETF) Steam systems and associated structures, systems and operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to following activities:

-Authority to direct and manage day and rotating shift personnel which will include operations and matrixed (Maintenance, RadCon, and etc.) personnel.
-Provide feedback to the responsible managers of matrixed personnel regarding timecards, performance and any another personnel information which needs to be communicated.
-Manage scheduling and integration, and overall accountability for compliant operations as needed to ensure mission objectives are successful.
-Manage complex steam system Operations and Maintenance activities in accordance with ASME requirements.
-Manage all aspects of Steam Operations, Engineering, Radiological Control, and Maintenance at 242-A and ETF in accordance with established WRPS priorities, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
-Provides integration information to company level schedules. Interfaces with other organizations to ensure schedules and resources are aligned for maintaining compliant and mission essential schedules.
-Demonstrate commitment to the WRPS Vision and its core values
-Accountable for personnel safety based on the principle of "Target Zero" injuries
-Ensure Maintenance & Operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and company programs, policies and procedures.
-Facilitate the implementation and acceptance of change and process improvements within the workplace
-Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct
-Develop effective working relationships with Bargaining Unit and non-bargaining unit personnel, demonstrating mutual respect and cooperation
-Establish deliverables and follow through on commitments
-Set high standards of performance for self and others
-Ensure procedure compliance is expected and enforced
-Manage resource allocation as needed to meet company schedules
-Identify training and qualification assignments for Facility personnel
-Manage effective performance of Facility schedules
-Ensure personnel are assigned only work they are trained and qualified to perform.
-Manage Corrective Actions
-Identify and implement enhancements to conduct of operations implementation
-Ensure that responses to abnormal event are conducted and reported appropriately

Required Qualifications
BA/BS and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; with at least 3 of these years with experience directing and managing craft and/or union personnel.

Desired Qualifications
-Experience with Nuclear Operations either on a Department of Energy site or commercial site.
-Previous experience with DOE, DNFSB staff, and regulators desirable.
-Previous experience with the Effluent Treatment Facility or with the 242-A Evaporator desirable.
