Our
Project & Our Company
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS), the prime contractor for Tank Operations Contract, manages and integrates
a full range of work to support cleanup of the U.S. Department of Energy's
former nuclear production facilities at the Hanford Site. Our employees
are dedicated to bringing our values of safety, integrity, teamwork, and
excellence to every facet of our challenging mission.
Our
Community
Hanford is located in southeastern Washington State along the scenic
Columbia River. The largest of the surrounding communities, the Tri-Cities
(population ~ 125,000), consists of the cities of Richland, Kennewick, and
Pasco. Three rivers, nearby mountain ranges, more than 100 parks, nine golf
courses, and over 32 miles of paved bike/hike paths provide unlimited sporting
and recreational opportunities. And the weather is great! The Tri-Cities has a
sunny, mild desert climate and averages more than 300 sun days annually. Add
strong schools, excellent medical services, low crime rates, some of the finest
fruit, produce, and wine to be found anywhere, and we think you'll agree that
this is a terrific place to live and a challenging and rewarding place to work!
